Long time no review post~

Melodrama will always be mine but, if you are looking for a movie that you can feel blend with nature, like inhale morning dew scent or staring shooting star in the roof of your house without a care in the world, “Little Forest” is the best answer for you who have been tired of this messy world.

I don’t know why I love these kinds of indie feels movie. It is just a small movie with no villain, no real tension, and no real conflict either. But suddenly this kind of question come to my mind after watched it; “Do we really need uptight forever in our lives?”. Of course, not.

Metropolitan people try to enjoy their live with spend a lot of money, to have such a fancy life-style but this movie tickles us to think back again and just have a simply-life. Letting go is on of the best action we can do, because it’ll be give us exact answer what we’ve wanted.

The story is about, Song Haewon (Kim Taeri),  a good natures college kid who regains her spirit after comeback to her hometown. Simply-life. Waking up in the morning with no worries, cooking, farming, playing with pet, bickering and annoying with her loving friend and life in general are the flick’s main features. Her presence and the chemistry with her friends pumps fun into what could have been a mundane film about country life. Always loving Ryu Junyeol since Reply 1988 and start liking Jin Kijoo as an antagonist in Misty, but I’ve never know this trio (with Kim Taeri) will be this awesome. The trio is truly loveable in how they sometimes annoy but genuinely care about each other. Their problems seem very minor, but that is the beauty of it: you can see that everything is going to work out in the end.
